Show Fishing Season Opens Sat. One of the most promising season sea-son openings for Utah anglers is expected Saturday, June 4 when thousands trek to the hills to test their skills against the wily trout. Fishermen will have ready access ac-cess to all fishing waters in the southern Utah area with roads open and streams and lakes clear for the initial onslaught. Waters in the area are expected to produce better fishing for the opening than in the past several sev-eral years, with early runoff allowing al-lowing complete accessibility to all areas for stocking and preparation. pre-paration. Some of the waters expected to be "hot" for the opener Saturday Sa-turday include Panguitch Lake, where fish are expected to be more plentiful and bigger than last seasn; Kolob Reservoir and Paragonah Reservoir. According to reports from the Utah Fish and Game Dept. practically prac-tically all waters of the area are expected to be good withh the possible exception of Lower Enterprise En-terprise reservoir. Some of the heavier fished waters have been sufficentlyj stocked with catchable fish to insure success for most rodsmen out for the opening week end. The entire season is expected to be better than last with high I waters in most reservoirs and streams. Fisherman are cautioned to know the state fish and game laws.
