This is the only school to be held In Southwest areas this year. Attendance at such a ' school qualifies a person to be a certified applicator, which allows that person to purchase and apply restricted restrict-ed pesticides andherblcides. It also allows the person to purchase poison grain for rodent control from the Po-catello Po-catello Supply Department of the UJS. Fish and Wildlife Wild-life Service. Some pesticides are restricted re-stricted now, so cannot be' purchased by anyone not holding a license to apply them. This is the first year that any materials have been restricted re-stricted even though this program has been In effect at least two years. Many farmers and others have attended schools in the past two years so they need not attend this year. However, How-ever, those who wish to purchase pur-chase restricted material and have not taken the course should do so. |
