Show the marker for their outstanding out-standing efforts in developing develop-ing the park. Historical Society plans trip The Historical Society, last Thursday, began making plans for a trip to Eureka and Austin, Nevada, to look at these historic old towns. The trip will be two days with one night away from home. All persons interested interest-ed in going are urged to attend at-tend the next meeting, to finalize the date and plans. Next meeting date will be Thursday, April 19th. They also authorized purchase pur-chase of several trees to replace those broken off by youngsters tubing during the past winter'in the Historical Park. They also discussed planting plant-ing roses around theDomin-guez-Escalante monument, and other summer projects. They expect to complete a vertical shaft mine replica in the park this year. They agreed to purchase a safe deposit box to store valuable documents, and a file cabinet to store other items that are in their care. Other organizations are asked to develop a section of the historical park, and individuals contributing $500 or more to the park may have their name, or the name of someone they choose, added to the memorial marker.
