Show ELKINS ACT CONSTRUED Small Shippers Granted Injunction Against the Railroads. CHICAGO, April 24. Judge Grosscup today entered an order In the United States Court of Appeals enjoining six railroad companies from discriminating against small shippers In the Western territory. The decision Is especially important as being the flrstj under the new Elkln law. j The Government, according to the decision. de-cision. Is entitled to tho Injunction against the defending railroads under the commerce act as well as the Klklns act. The ruling applies to fourteen rail, roads which were covered by proceedings proceed-ings Instituted In the Federal court. of thesit companies were defendants In the Jm-nl court, the othera are under th- jurisdiction of the Kansas City Federal court.
