Chit f of Police, yesterday yes-terday llk-d a demurrer to the complaint in the quo warranto proceedings that have been Instituted against him In the Supreme Su-preme court. The demurrer contends that the facts set forth in the complaint do not constitute a cause of action. No delay In the hearing of the matter will re'sult from the filing of the demurrer, as It was accompanied by a stipulation that the case be heard Monday morning, the time originally set.
