Show City Briefs. The civil service examination which was held yesterday found only one applicant appli-cant for' a cadetship, viz., Walter Brown. President Shurtliff and Col. Fowler has been convicted on the charge of impersonating an officer. Fowler was tried yesterday morning before be-fore Municipal Judge Powell. Fowler is the man who represented himself as an officer and arrested a deserter and took him to Fort Douglas. |
