Show PIONEER MINER OF STOCKTON IS DEAD Thomas J. Connor of Park City Succumbs Suc-cumbs to a Stroke cf Paralysis. Thomas J. Connor, the Park City miner who waa stricken with paralysis a few days ago at Park City, succumbed to the attack last night at his home. 009 South Eighth East street, leaving his wife and four children. ' The deceased was a cousin of Gen. P. E. Connor and was born In Ireland In 1839. He first came to Salt Lake in a wagon in lSti'J. One year was spent in the Stockton mines, after which he went to San Francisco, thence to Virginia City. Nev.. where he worked in the Cora-stock Cora-stock until 18h0. For the next three years Connor lived in Stockton, Utah, and then spent ten years in Butte, after which he moved to Park City, where he has since been employed em-ployed in the Silver King until he was stricken with paralysis. His son, Thomas J.' Connor. Jr.. is a blacksmith. He also leaves two daughters. daugh-ters. Minnie and Ella, ar.d a cousin, John F Connor of Stockton. The funeral will be held tomorrow from the residence. |
