Show pgnnaitcli By Mamie Talbot" 676-8084 The wet snow storm covering the valley this past week stopped several roofing jobs for a few days. Pearl Walker is home from her trip to California to see family members. She told us that her sister Ramona (Tony) Veater Prince will celebrate her 80th birthday this spring and come home to Panguitch to do it. Her sisters Pearl and Annette Beck-strom Beck-strom and brother Clark Veater are all living in this area now. We hope to see Tony when the big day arrives. Pearl and Royce Walker have moved into the new addition to their home. They had help from a nephew to haul the belongings they have had in storage since spring and got them safely under shelter'. Sister Sally Cooper, who was home from her LDS Washington Mission because of illness, has been able to return to her duties there. Little Avery Marie LeFevre, daughter of Jeremy and Shana Orton LeFevre was blessed with her name on Nov. 8 in the LDS 1st Ward. Grandparents here are Jerry and Deanna LeFevre and the Kenny Ortons and great-grandparents great-grandparents here are Ike LeFevre and Alta Orton. Many folks from the area took advantage of the Garfield Health Fair in the Social Hall on Nov. 7. A lot of information, tests and services were available. It was greatly appreciated. Edna Clarke was happy and surprised to have ; son Michael Connell visit her while she was in the local hospital, He sneaked up on her by sending word that there was a fellow waiting to see her but wouldn't say who he was. Edna is now convalescing at home and her daughter-in-law Raylene Connell came from Texas to attend a brothers mission report in Enoch, so she also spent time with Edna. The little grand-. grand-. sons are waiting to see grandma at Christmas time and hoping that she will be able to walk well by' then. Beverly Crosby is recovering ' at home from a knee replacement. Her daughters Cherrie, Charlene and Gaylene are helping Art to take care of her. Linda Vanderlitz gave a very interesting in-teresting lesson in both camps, "The History of San Pete County". Aha Orton had knee replacement replace-ment surgery and will recuperate at the local care center. Kay, Neilene and Anette Heywood went to Vernal to attend services in the lovely LDS temple tem-ple there. They then went on to the beautiful Bear Lake country to visit Kathy H. Giselmeyers family in their new cabin there. Bruce Heywood was here on his way to take son Robert Heywood Hey-wood to the Provo to prepare for his LDS mission to Russia. |
