Show Tropic Mows By Louise Ott 679-8776 Thelma, Clive, Aaron and Julie Ju-lie Bybee and families were in Salt Lake City to attend the LDS baptisms of Natalie Harward, daughter of Paul and Kaylyn Harward, and Zack, son of Craig and Brenda Bybee. Rick and Renon Bybee were in Salt Lake City where they attended EMT meetings. While there, they visited vis-ited Renon's sister Gerry Munford. The Bryce Country Quilters met in Tropic to exchange patterns pat-terns for wall hangings. Doyle Cottom and Bonnie Miles were the speakers in LDS Sacrament Meeting along with Tristen and Steven Feltner as youth speakers. Ella Adair hosted the LDS Adult Family Home Evening and Dixie Shakespear gave the lesson. Mr and Mrs. Danny Chynoweth, son of Gene and Mary Etta Chynoweth, have moved home they are living in Flora LeFevre's house. It's good to see them here again. Congratulations to Wes and Ellen Clarke as they were sealed in the Mount Timpanogas LDS Temple on Nov. 7. Four of their teenagers did baptisms for the dead. Lester and Vertis Clarke were in attendance as were Ellen's El-len's parents and some of their family members. Ron MeGee and son Joey surprised sur-prised their aunt Minnie Nielson, she really enjoyed their short visit. Sandrea Francisco took her mother Eva Dean for her check-up in St. George following a successful success-ful surgery. She still has to take it easy for six weeks but is mighty thankful to be free of the pain in her back. Visiting with Charles and Eva Dean is Eva Dean's brother Kent Webster from Salt Lake City. Whenever he comes to visit, there is a lot of activity going on and many wonderful things are accomplished. Mary Ott was in St. George for doctor appointments. She then went along with her daughter, Marilyn Murdock, to Las Vegas, Nev. to visit Sandra and LaMont Houston and see their new home. JoAmi and Ron Otteson, Salt Lake City, popped in for a visit with brother and sister-in-law Kent and Betty Wintch. JoAnn said they heard great honking on the freeway and saw brother Dean and Erma Wintch in their car. What a surprise to both of them! Rhett and Christine Shakespear recently took Dixie Shakespear to the 50th wedding anniversary of Eulla and Leon Parkinson held in Ogden. Eulla is E.R.'s sister, daughter of William and Matilda Shakespear. She was raised in Tropic and she and Leon were married Oct. 13, 1948 in the Logan LDS Temple. |
