Show D. C. M 'DONALD ENTHUSIASTIC. D. C. McDonald of the McDonald-Ely and other good properties in Ely and Duck Creek came in from the west on a morning train, and will be in the city a few days attending to business at this end of the line. McDonald says that they are getting good results from their operations oper-ations in both districts and ' theywill soon be among the shipping propositions from that region. The winter has retarded re-tarded development work only in the inability in-ability to get additional equipment to the mines to more extensively open up the ground. As soon as weather conditions are more favorable an enormous amount of mining will be done throughout that section, and. with better facilities for getting the ores to the market, the next season will doubtless witness the beginning begin-ning of the pouring out of the great wealth of Ely and Duck Creek in a manner man-ner that will startle the native. McDonald is the personal representative representa-tive of the Kelth-Kearns syndicate in that portion of Nevada, and it is said by experienced, mining men, who have inspected in-spected the properties he has acquired, that he has landed some of the best mining mi-ning propositions in that - neck of the woods.
