Show been driven into themountain, the longest long-est one of which is in a distance of 400 feet. The ore thus far developed- shows values of as much as 6 per cent in the red metal, while the general average of the ledge matter shows no less than 2 per cent values. It. is the opinion of the management that this property can be developed into one of the largest producers in that wonderful won-derful copper camp, and the only way of proving this is to get the proper depth. This the company has, decided to do at the earliest date possible. At the Nevada-Falrvlew mine. In tunnel tun-nel No. 1, a crosscut Is being driven to get under the ore that was exposed near the surface in an open cut. The face of this tunnel, which has been driven underground un-derground for a distance of 300 feet, is now within a few feet of the vein matter, mat-ter, while this channel has been driven the entire distance in the hanging wall side of the contact. Tunnel No. 4 is in a distance of 275 feet, and has exposed some good values of high-grade ore at several places in the property. - A wlnse has been dropped from tunnel No. 4 level and the ledge has been exposed ex-posed between walls, and ore Is being sacked for shipment, which gives values, according to assays, of an average of 8100 per ton. The property has been opened up at several other places, and from every avenue there is ore being taken out. Everything Indicates a bright futiire for this Falrview proposition, and it is the feeling among the shareholders that they have a mine of big proportions, which will quickly respond to the efforts being made by an experienced management. SNYD-SR IS ENTHUSIASTIC. v Mansger Grant Snyder of the Malachite rompany s property at Yerington and the Nevada-Falrview In the Falrview district, has returned from a trip to these properties. proper-ties. That he was successful In his mission mis-sion is shown by the fact that Immediately Immedi-ately after his arrival in this city he an- nounced that the Yerington property would be opened up at once with a three- compartment shaft, and that grading has v begun preparatory to beginning active operations on the property. There has been considerable develop-, ment work done on this Yerington copper proposition, and the ore channels have been cut by several tunnels thst have |
