Both motions carried. A motion prevailed that a warrant for $50 be drawn on the treasurer for the services of the-lavers, after which a recess of fifteen minutes was taken. On calling to order, Mayor Faddies stated he could not go to Salt Lake to serve on the committee, and Councilman Buchanan was appointed to 11 hi . place on the con. mittee.
