PIONEER WOMAN DEAD Mrs Sarah W G Eldredge Came to TJtahin 1848 D c Yesterday Morning Bountiful Sarah W G Eldrcdge second wife of the late Horace F Eldredge and one of Utahs pioneer women died yester daymorning at Bountiful of old age at the home of her daughter Mrs Bryant Bry-ant Strlngham For some time past Mrs Eldredge has been failing under the weight of nearly seventysix years She was among the first women to settle In Salt Lake valley coming herein here-in ISIS with the second emigrant train which brought recruits to the Mormon settlement For more than forty years she lived continually In the city and la well known to all the old timers ofthe valley Ten years ago she removed to Bountiful where she has resided ever since She was born In Vermont In 1827 The funeral services will be held tomorrow to-morrow morning at 1 oclock at the West Bountiful meeting house The remains re-mains will be brought to the city cemetery ceme-tery for burial In the family plot
