Sept. 27. Crabbe plays Brigadier Gordon, a former fighter pilot who comes out of retirement to save Earth. Returning Return-ing to active duty, he joins Buck Rogers (Gerard) in a space battle when a mysterious disease strikes down Earth's fighter pilots. Crabbe parlayed his 1932 Olympic Olym-pic swimming success into a hot movie career. His first movie role was the Lion Man in 'King of the Jungle,' He went on to star as Tarzan, Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers.
