Show Grove Ward Wins Second Half Last Week! The Grove ward by virtue of a never say die spirit and the brief let-down of the Lindon ward team won the second half of the M-Men basketball tournament in the Tim-panogos Tim-panogos stake last Thursday night, thereby earning the right to meet Second -ward. in the playoff-, night. Grove team as Hilton tied the score with a basket and a free pitch at 27 all and a minute later the Grove ward went ahead 30-28 on a basket and free pitch with Doyle Harris getting the last of the Lindon ward points with a free pitch. J. H. Harvey then sewed up the game 1 with two set-ups and a foul pitch in the closing 45 seconds of the game, after Christiansen of the Grove ward had been ousted with his fifth foul. No starting player on either team had less than three fouls daring the game. Grove -ward outstored Lindon from the field 12 baskets to 9 while from the foul line, Lindon made 9 out of 21 tries and Grove ward capitalized on 11 out of 23.
