' The purpose of the campaign and the program for 1920 were explained by Mrs. Clarke Tiilinghast. member of the woman's wo-man's board of home missions of the Presbyterian church and of the council of women, for home missions, comprised of representatives of thirteen denominations, denomi-nations, and by the Rev. James G. Bailey, associate field director of the New Era committee of the Presbyterian church. The Rev. David McMartin of Chevenne. superintendent of missions for the Presbyterian church in Wyoming, also told of the aims of the movement. The institute was one of -100 which are to be held in the United States during November and December in the interests of the campaign for broadening the educational edu-cational and religious field of the Presbyterian Pres-byterian church. Ministers, elders and members of the Women's Missionary' society so-ciety of the Presbyterian church of Utah were present at the sessions yesterday. In his address last evening Mr. Bailey declared that the purchase of unneces-sarics unneces-sarics was responsible for the high cost of many products.
