Show SANTAQUIN HOLDS BIG CELEBRATION Special td The Trltrone. SANTAQUIN, Nov. It. One Of the biggest big-gest celebrations ever held here was that of yesterday. In observance of Armistice day. Returned service men to the number num-ber of fifty-seven, most of them In uniform, uni-form, led the parade. The Silver band gave a conrert from 10 to 11 a. m. The citizens later assembled assem-bled at the ward church, where an interesting inter-esting program was carried out. At 1 o'clock In the afternoon an elaborate elabo-rate dinner was served at the new garage, nearly 1000 persons participating. A special table, decorated In the national na-tional colors, was reserved for tho former service men and their friends. A matinee In the .Jewel theater, a children's chil-dren's dance and a 'lance In Hudson hall for the adults In the evening concluded the day's program. Music was furnished by tho Santaquln Silver band throughout. |
