Show HEALTH CRUSADE FILM EXHIBITED John W. Jacobs, executive secretary of the Utah Public Health association, returned re-turned yesterday from Tooele, where he showed, for the first time in Utah, the now film on the health crusade which has just boon received. The film was shown at the theater on Monday -night. Mr. Jacobs spoke at tbe request of FJ. M. Reid, superintendent of the Tooele schools. On Tuesday morning" the film was again shown, this time to 600 fourth, fifth and sixth grade children of Tooele, and then followed a short talk to the children and twentv minutes of institute with the teachers. Tte film was shown to the GrantsviUe school children and teachers on Tuesday afternoon and at Tooele on Tuesday e"ontnir. This afternoon Mr. Jacobs will take the film to Lay ton. where It will be shown under the auspices of the Parent Teachers Teach-ers association. Next week the film will bo shown at Park City and Heber for several days. Arrangements can bo made to show the film anywhere in the state. While at Tooele Mr. Jacobs secured K. M. Reli, the superintendent of schools, as chairman for the Red Cross seal sale of the Utah Public Health association, which starts on December 1. Hi secured Dr. J. A. Phlpps as chairman for the sale in Tooele city. |
