Robert Lindley Murray of California, representing the Niagara Falls Tennis club of Buffalo, won the national tennis championship of 1918 on the turf courts of the West Side club at Forest Hills, N. Y. The scores in the final sets were 6 2; 6 1; 7 5. Murray succeeds Lieut. P. Norris Williams II to the title.
