Show FAIRVIEW Born to the wife of James Orten, Jr., Oct. 5, a baby girl. Alvin Day went to Provo Tuesday where he will enter the army training train-ing in the B. Y. University. Harold Mower, who has been employed em-ployed at Garfield the past summer, came home this week. He has enlisted enlist-ed in the U. S.. Marines and will stay here until he receives his call. Mr. and Mrs. Ole Lasson spent last week in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bills Sr. are spending the week visiting their daughter, Mrs. Frank Miner, at Vineyard. Vine-yard. Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Orten came from Garfield and spent 'the week here wMth relatives. Mr. Orten left Thursday for an army training camp where he will enter the service of the United States. He was caild from Garfield. |
