The cause of Liberty is at stake, and we are fighting an unhallowed and most ruthless foe. Who is going to buy the food, the clothing, anil the bullets for our boys "over there?" Every man in the trendies is asking that question. Are we going to do our share? They, "over there" are doing theirs, every hour, minute and day of the year.. Germany is not beaten yet. She has her forces still in France. They have yet to be driven through Belgium, the land they laid waste four years ago. As her armies swept toward Paris and the channel port3 of Northern France, German Kultur wrs impressed more firmly tha.i ever, upon the people of Belgium an 1 France. Edith Cavell, the brave and devoted English nurse, who was cruelly murdered by Von Bissing and his horde of military assasins, is a sample of German Kultur. Don't forget this, you fathers and mothers, whose sons are now facing the murderous mur-derous legions of the German Kaiser. We have but one course to follow fol-low in this war, and that is the crushing out, of Kaiserism. Berlin is a long way off, and the Kaiser still has his millions for the slaugh-top slaugh-top Cprmnnv and her rnilitnrv masters must be crushed, by our own strength and our own efforts. This can only he clone by supporting our government with every dollar at our command. Are you going to help buy the bullets? If not, you better go over and join the Kaiser. That's where you belong. Our lives,, our homes, and the welfare of the human family is at stake. Then let us do our bit. The government asks no man or woman to do more than they consistantly can. It is supposed that every true American, who has a spark of patriotism in his body will rally to the aid of the government in this hour of peril. Again I ask, are you going to help buy the bullets for the boys "over there?" |
