Show When She Simply Won't Mrs. Frank Lloyd Wright, wife of the well known architect.' archi-tect.' refuses to divorce him for $5000 and $200 monthly, preferring pre-ferring loneliness and penury, unless he gives up "the other woman." It is another exhibit of the fact that most women fail to recognize a good business deal, being misled by their personal emotions. Mrs. Wright would punish her husband, by refusing refus-ing him "the other woman," and punish herself most of all. In cases of the kind, of which there are not a few, getting "the other woman" usually brings all the punishment that a man can carry. Five thousand down 'and a life income of 3200 monthly would probably punish both Wright and "the other women." Clearly a bargain much better than nothing, which the wife decides upon. ' |
