Show UTAH PIONEER LAID AT REST HERETUESDAY Funeral rrvices for John T. Lambson, pioneer of thiy city, who died Saturday evening at the family residence after a lingering illness of two months, were hold Tuesday afternoon in the Third ward chapel. William Bringburst of the ward bishopric was in charge. The invocation invo-cation was offered by Elmo Coffman. Coff-man. Musical numbers consisted of a vocal duet by Mrs. Jennie E. Kearns and' Miss Myrtle Childs; solo. Elmo Coffman ; solo, Catherine It.- Dougall. The speakers, each of whom paid respects to the life of Mr. Lambson, were Willis K. Johnson, John-son, Jr., Ernest Buyer and William Bringburst. The closing prayer wns offered by Heed Bird. Mr. Lambson was born in Mills . county, Iowa, August 10, 1S55. He I came to Utah in the spring of 1SC1 in Captain Arba Lambson's company com-pany of thirty ox-teams. He came directly to Springville and has lived here a'l of his life. Surviving are bis widow, . Mrs. Harriet Avery Lambson, one daughter, Mrs. Reva Johnson of Spanish Fork; three, sons, Arba, of Springville; Delbert of Price, and Earl of Canada ; also two lirothers, Albert and Daniel, of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Eliza-beth Haley, also of Springville. |
