Show Utah Sets Plans For Coming Tourist Season SALT LAKE CITY Scenic Utah will be depicted as a "new line of travel merchandise" for the American tourist in 1942, according to H. J. Plumhof, member' of the state Department of Publicity and Industrial Development. The department is assembling material for a travel folder to be circulated throughout the nation by railroads and airlines, automobile automo-bile clubs and tourist bureaus. It will feature a large number of photographs in full natural color in addition to black and white illustrations, Mr. Plumhof said. Besides the several scenic attractions at-tractions which are known the world over as typically Utah, the publication will contain manynsw photographs of less widely known spots of historic, scenic and recreational rec-reational interest in ttie state, which it is hoped will cause tourists tour-ists to extend their visit in Utah. Civic groups and , citizens throughout the state are invited to submit ideas and photographs for possible inclusion in the booklet. The Department of Publicity and Industrial Development is located in the Dooly Building, Salt Lake I City. |
