Show - ;. K Soil Conservation News Ily It. Dale Webber The Parla River SCD held their April meeting recently at the home of Jasper Henderson at Cannonvllle. Supervisors attending the meeting besides Mr. Henderson were Thorley Johnson and Earl Jolley. Ray Frost and mygelf represented the SCS. The main item of business was the revision of the District Plan of Operations. When completed i will be published and the information pregented to the farmers of the district. Supervisors who were unable to attend the meeting were Angus Baldwin and Arlo iBarton. Last week visiting the districts were Darwin Anderson, SCS, Plant Material Specialist, from Arizona, and Walt Rum-Bey, SCS, Range Specialist from Richfield. Ray Frost accompanied them and they Inspected and made ecological studies at such placeg as Dry Valley, Round Valley, Sheep Flat and Georgetown. ' Jasper Henderson went along to the Sheep Flat area. Ray reported that If you would like to see. a good example of the grass that can be produced by fenclug and protecting an area, drive. down to Georgetown' and look i, at their cemetery.' ' A neighbor group ' meeting" was held. recently at Hatch at the home of Garth Heap. Garth" Ityaeuperylgor of the Upper Sevier SCD. Such items, as range Improvement, range seeding and Irrigation water management were discussed. Attending the meeting were Eric and Orgon Barnhurat and Kllburn Wilson.
