Show PROCLAMATION WHEREAS, a serious water shortage ha developed as a result of overuse of water from the culinary system of the municipality, arid WHEREAS, the shortage of water seriously endangers life and lropertyof j-esldenia of this community, from. tho. ravages ot-firev-and WHEREAS, the City Council or this municipality Is desirous ot effecting a means whereby the fullest advantages may be made of cur precious, water supply toward the beautltlcatlons of the community as a whole, together with" maintaining a fire reserve. NOW THEREFORE, 1, William G, Bruhn, Mayor or the City of Pangultch, do hereby proclaim the following regulations on sprinkling and uses other than for culinary purposes. 1. Residents of thla community may sprinkle only between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. 2. Open hoses will not be permltted.A sprinkling head or sprinkling devise must be used at all times for the purpose, of sprinkling. 3. Sprinkling operations must be conducted by a responsible Individual over 14 years of age. Such Individual must be out ot doors and In the area sprinkled at all times sprinklers are in use. It at any time a sprinkler Is left unattached for any purpose while In use, the offender will be deemed In violation of these regulations. 4. Hoses not In use must be serviced by a sprinkler head, or disconnected at hydrant or water source. Watering of livestock mutt be done while responsible Individual over 14 years of age Is In attendance. Livestock water taps left running while unattended will be considered In violation of this proclamation. AND DO FURTHER PROCLAIM that vlolater ot the rules and regulations set forth In this proclamation will be prosecuted and fines Imposed as provided by the Ordinances of Pangultch City, In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand this 21st day of April, 1955, and cause the official seal of Pangultch' City to be attached thereunto.
