Show ADDLE BIAGS nv doxxa pktkusox Well, here we are again after having lost a couple of weeks someplace. Hope you folks have not missed us too much. We're mighty proud of a couple of things this week. First off, Buck. Cuskelly was elected Chief Judge for the Utah State Western Riding Clubs Association. Congratulations Duck. Next, we were given the go-ahead sign on our lights and water at the race track. At a meeting held last week with the Panguitch Clty-Oarfleld County nace Track Committee, and members of the. PRC Board of Directors, a aet of blueprints for Improvement of the Fair Grounds was presented and accepted by the group. The Riding Club members are very happy to hear that the all-clear has been given to start on lights and betterment of the Rodeo arena. We hope also to get a water supply at the track to help cut down on the dust we have to cope with all the time. Cold and windy as it has been there hasn't been too much outdoor activity among members of the PRC. However, Doug,' Jim, and Duck did go down last Sunday and tried to catch a calf. They didn't have too much luck guess' the wind was blowing too hard, Some of the younger members of the Club, Larry Coon, Karl Henrle, Devon Owens and Allan Partridge spent the Easter weekend camped out on Five Mile (wherever that Is). Taking their horses and" bed rolls, they made quite a weekend out of It, and reported the snow was a little deep In spots, especially when you get horses stuck In It. Phil Dickinson, and Adrian Dalton, a new member of the PRC, are, at the time time of this writing. In Clovls, N.M.. buying more horses hope they bring back some good ones. Hope to see you next week with more to report on the work at the Fair Grounds. It looks like an awfully big project for the summer, but with- cooperation from everyone we- should be able to have It -in good shape for the Race Meet. Homecoming Rodeo and District Meet this year. |
