I (Jfi'vornor Hughes, who occupied tho reviewing stand erected for the Inauguration, In-auguration, in front of the White House. The seventh, after having been on the road for ever twelve, hours, arrived here late In the afternoon after-noon to participate In the great pageant, page-ant, and as a special courtesy, President Presi-dent Taft reviewed them today. Afterward, After-ward, the President went direct to thu cast roiim of the Whito House where he received several large delegations. The Conkllng Unconditional and Sherman Scouts, two political organizations organ-izations from Utlca, N. Y., which participated par-ticipated In the inauguration yesterday, yester-day, paid their respects to Vice-President Sherman today before returning home. Thev marched through the cap-ltol cap-ltol leading a goat, which was their mascot. |
