Barnard and two children, from Salt Lake City were in Delta 'lor the pheasant hunt, and visited will) Mrs. Bar-nard's aunt, Mrs. W. H. Pace. Emory John returned to Delta Sunday after a visit in Salt Lake City with his brother, Barclay John. Chan Brewer, of U. S. World Tire Co.. Tom Carter of Interstate Truck Line, and a party of ten men from Salt Lake City arrived by plane and cars for the pheas-ant season in the Delta area , guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Work-man. Most of the party were put up at the Workman farm. It was the fifth pheasant season in Delta for the visitors. Earth Black, freshman at the U. of U., was home for the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gol-den H. Black. Leamington J Mrs. Pearl Nelson Mr and Mrs. Fay Fielding spent visiting in Qrem and in Saturday Pleasant Grove. Mrs Gwen Jackson and daugh- - v'itited with her parents over (era ,., week end. Mr and Mrs. Ray Anderson and (imily visited in Leamington for .' fe. days last week. Mr and Mrs. Buss Bennett and children were down to hunt pheasa-nts and viisit. Arlo Nelson spent Saturday vis-iting his parents. Mr and Mrs. Conrad Vogel and children spent the week end visit' ing with her father, Samuel P. Jens-en. Clinton Nielson and Jack Niel-so- n attended the stock show in Ogden. Kelief Society conference was held Sunday evening. A fine pro-a-on the purpose of the RS was carried out. Mrs. Artie Hend-ers0- n was the stake officer in att-endance. Black ISock MRS. MERRILL MILLER Mr. and Mrs. Hampton C. Burke gave a 'farewell dinner for the employees of the El Capitan Oil Co., Inc. We regret very much to see these families move back to Kansas after having' enjoyed know ' ing them as friends and neighbor.;. Election day was a pleasant clay. We enjoyed seeing every jne si. to vote and showing so much in-terest in political affairs. Mrs. Mer-rill Miller served dinner to Hie judges and their wives enjoyed lis-tening to the returns over the rnd- - io. Mrs. Hampton C. Burke drove to Milford to call on some friends in the Milford hospital. Mr. Ed Nelson of Mt. Pleasant, stopped at the Black Rock Ranch on his way to see his sheep which are at present ranging in the Cric-ket Mountains. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Adair visited Mr. and Mrs. Milt Chavis of Delta during the close of the week. AH are thankful for the rain which fell about a week ago. The over-ca- st predicts (???) more mois ture. As yet enough has not fallen lo lessen the amount of water which must be hauled to the vari-ous herds of sheep from Black Rock. At present a sufficient am-ount is hauled to water about lw herds of sheep a day from Black. UTAH Tne boys In today's Who's Who ' are Royal and Golden Erickso.n, Sutherland farmers for many years Royal, the elder brother, died ar-ound three years ago. Golden, the baby, is still farming here, and carpentering, too. The boys were born in Grantsville, and came with their family to west Millard In 1912. Pfc. Ronald Wilkins, one of the twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Wilkins, arrived in Delta last week on furlough. His brother Donald, had preceded him home a week. The boys had recently returned from Alaska, and Ronald and a friend made a trip through the northwest before coming on to Delta. They will be here until Nov. 20.
