Show Future Home-makers Sponsor Cake Sale i i ! Delta high school newly or-) or-) amiei Future Home-makers ' 0f America chapter sponsored coke sale on two days of last week to raise funds for projects planned for the coming year. Mrs. Julia Bliss, advisor, was in charge. Officers shown here super-rising super-rising wares before sale opened are, left to right, Dorothy Corry, treasurer, Diane Overson, secretary, secre-tary, Marilyn Callister, song leader, Roberta Nielsoin, vice-president, vice-president, Delia Johnson, president, presi-dent, Jessie Lynn Cook, reporter, report-er, and Darlene McCullough, pariamentarian. Cakes, cookies and cupcakes were sold out within 15 minutes each day. With the funds the FHA plans to make the girls' sick-room more comfortable, and pleasant and build toward a donation to the new hospital. More sales are planned for the future, with members taking turns furnishing the baked goods. |
