Show Black ISock MRS. MERRILL MILLER Mr. and Mrs. Hampton C. Burke gave a 'farewell dinner for the . employees of the El Capitan Oil Co., Inc. We regret very much to see these families move back to Kansas after having' enjoyed know ' ing them as friends and neighbor.;. Election day was a pleasant clay. j We enjoyed seeing every jne si. to vote and showing so much interest in-terest in political affairs. Mrs. Merrill Mer-rill Miller served dinner to Hie judges and their wives enjoyed listening lis-tening to the returns over the rnd- io. j Mrs. Hampton C. Burke drove to ' Milford to call on some friends in the Milford hospital. Mr. Ed Nelson of Mt. Pleasant, stopped at the Black Rock Ranch on his way to see his sheep which are at present ranging in the Cricket Cric-ket Mountains. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Adair visited Mr. and Mrs. Milt Chavis of Delta during the close of the week. AH are thankful for the rain which fell about a week ago. The over-cast predicts (???) more mois ture. As yet enough has not fallen lo lessen the amount of water which must be hauled to the various vari-ous herds of sheep from Black Rock. At present a sufficient amount am-ount is hauled to water about lw herds of sheep a day from Black. |
