Dinner was served at 8 o' clock to LaVonne Morrison, Verna Shepherd, Wanda Beckwith, Mae Holman, Vivian Holman, Lois Hin-ckley, Luella Nickle, Amelia Cole, Euby Voriak, Etta Underbill and Dorothy Killpack. CIsasage Plseo S Civic Clmhs Meat Due to an unavoidable conflict in dales the monthly meeting ot the Associated Civic Clubs of Sou-thern and Eastern Utah will be held in Richfield instead of Cedar City as previously announced. The meeting will be held Satur-day, Nov. 25th, in the Telluride Auditorium. Directors and commet-te- e chairmen will meet at 11 a. m. The general meeting, also in the auditorium, and to which the pub-lic is invited will be held at 2:30 p. m. - - reports of officers and committee chairmen and election of officers for the coming year, and other business. At this afternoon meeting partic-ular attention will be paid to the Club's legislative program - - this will be of outstanding interest to all the people in the 18 county area the organization represents. There will be no public evening meeting, and no banquet. Echo park dam and Central Utah project, when com pleted will make Utah the lea-ding industrial state of the west. Echo Park dam site is located about 35 miles northeast of Vernal. There will be no lack of entertainment for the visiting Liens as there is being planned excursions to scenic areas, visit to the Field House of Natural History, Dino-sar- y Quarry, Green River Fish Fry, canyon outings and a tour of the scenic loop to the Uinta mountains. As General Chair -- man. Dr. F. G. Eckelson has a corps of committee chairman and workers busy for the big affair. B. H. Stringham and J. A. Cheney are vice chairmen. Dr. Ray E. Milne, St. George, district gov-ernor of 28-- are members of the committee, with Mr. John-son as chairman of district gov-ernor participation. Lyceum Cosniu On Folk Lore Monday, at 11 a. m., Delta high school will present another lyceum program, to which the public is invited. Folk lore will be featured on the lyceum, told in song and story by Dick and Betty Welsbach-er- , popular entertainers. |
