Show ALTONAH sxsxsxs&sxsxsxsxs&&xsxsx Mrs. Oscar Beebe returned home from Salt Lake City Monday Mon-day where she has been visiting for several days. Mrs. Frank Robinson left Monday for Salt Lake City to receive medical care. Dr. J. D. Winward, State Veterinarian Vet-erinarian of Salt Lake City was at the Gilbert Beebe ranch Thursday vaccinating the government gov-ernment horse for brain fever. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Alexander Alex-ander of Mt. Home were visiting in Altonah Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Beebe and Mrs. Dewey Jessen and baby spent a few days visiting in Salt Lake City last week. Mrs. Olive Beebe accompanied them, she expects to stay in the city for a while. George Fisher, Jr. took Mrs. Harold Morris to Roosevelt for medical care Thursday. Clyde Murray left Monday, April 9th for his physical examination exam-ination preparitory to his entering enter-ing the armed forces. The daughters of the Utah Pioneers gave a farewell party in the Ward hall Friday for one of its members, Mrs. Edith Anderson who is moving with her family to Paonia, Colorado. Mrs. Anderson has been a member mem-ber of the Altonah Post of the D, U. P. for 11 years, acting as secretary 2 years and as class leader the last 4 years. Games and refreshments were enjoyed by Mrs. Janet Beebe, Mrs. May R. Lambert, Mrs. Alta Murray, Mrs. Mary Bowden, Mrs. Ester Allred, Mrs. Lucy Watterson, Mrs. Ruth Dastrup, Mrs. Veril Mair, Mrs. Nina Boswell, Mrs. Bell Allred, Mrs. Margaret Maxfield, Mrs. Bernice Givens and the guest of honor. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Chritian-sen Chritian-sen of Emery, Utah, were visit- ihg at the home of Mrs. Christiansen's Christ-iansen's Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark County Agent, Marden Broad-bent Broad-bent and Agriculture Inspector, Alva Snow were Altonah business bus-iness visitors Friday. Lynn Farnsworth, Albert Clark, Clinton Bowden and Aldon Carroll made a trip to Logan and vicinity last week, where they purchased four Holstein bull calves. Mrs. El Behunin, Mrs. Lawrence Lawr-ence Clements and Mrs. Merlin Harris of Ogden spent a few days visiting their sisters Mrs. Edith Anderson and Mrs Verl Mair last week. A number of people from Altonah Al-tonah attended the P. T. A. at Altamont Saturday. |
