Show ENOCH Enoch, Utah, June 7, 11)17. Last Friday night a party was giv-en giv-en in honor of Mr. George W. Jones, j who enlisted during the week as a vol-I vol-I unteer to go and serve his country. , The evening wus spent iii singing, aDoech-reaktng and dancing. The people of Enoch feel honored in having such a splendid young man to represent them, and we trust that he and all the other volunteers will be -pared to return to home and friends again, when the war is over. Never before has our little town witnessed anything like the process ion thai passed through here Saturday. Satur-day. The Enoch brass band, the Sunday Sun-day School children and all the people I in general were out to meet them. The -tars and stripe- were tloatinp everywhere, and a deep feeling of patriotism pat-riotism prevailed. Quite a number of our people accompanied them to Lund. I The John P. Jones descendants will , hold their reunion on the 16 and lfi of June, and great preparations are being made to have it a thorough success. suc-cess.
