I CEDAR LUMBER & COMMISSION CC I NOTICE TO LIVE STOCK OWNERS H ' (Vdar City, Utah, May Hi, 1917. The undersigned companies have been trying WM fur several years to regulate the promiseous rnng- H ing of cattle and horses on our mountain ranges. M It has been custom with many live stock H owners to turn their animals loose on the moun- M tain to trespass upon ranges that have long since M passed into private ownership. These loose ani- m nials not only consume large quantities of teed H that is badly needed by our own herds, hut they M also use up our salt and kill many lambs and injure M old sheep by running through the herds at night H while they are on the bed ground. M The time has come now when a sheep is worth 9 more money than the average scrub horse that m infests the range, and we cannot afford any longer M to graze them. Before these animals are turned M loose this spring, we are giving the public notice m that no permits will be sold for grazing horses, M and that all horses found on our land will be im- H pounded for trespass. B A limited number of cattle will be grazed this H summer at $2.00 per head for the season, payable H in advance, and arrangements must be made he-Mi he-Mi fore they are turned on.
