Show SUTHERLAND . . . Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Deem and daughter, Konra, drove to northern north-ern Utah Saturday. They stayed over the weedend, returning on Monday. Dora Rose and daughters, Carmen Car-men and Margo, and Beatrice Erickson and sons, Ralph and La-Voy, La-Voy, drove to Provo and back on Thursday. On Tuesday, Bert Johnson and his family made a trip to the Man-ti Man-ti temple. Bishop and Mrs. Frank Lyman and Mrs. Lyman's mother, Mrs. Romania Ro-mania Porter, were in Provo on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell Wnlkpr Mr , Grant Bishop and Mr. and Mrs. ; Duane Bishop left Friday for Salt Lake City. They attened the Mil-1 Mil-1 lard and Moab game and the West Jordan-Box Elder football game. They came home on Saturday. On Friday Mr. and IVJrs. El Fowles and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Fowles went to Salt Lake City, returning on the same day. Lester Johnson went to Salina on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Erickson and Marlene, and Mr. and Mrs. Golden Erickson and Tanetta Sor-ensen Sor-ensen went to Grantsville on Friday Fri-day to attend the funeral of Norman's Nor-man's mother. The As You Like It Club's annual Thanksgiving party was held on Thursday at the Fred Turner home. Hostesses were Maxine Owens, Tanetta Sorensen, Florice Sanford and Elaine Turner. After a luscious dinner of turkey and dressing and ice cream, the evening was spent playing Bingo. Those present were Ben and Manon Robison, Bernard Bern-ard and Nella Jackson, Lester and Betty Johnson, and Mrs. Johnson's sister, Faris Miner, Roy and LaVell Smith, Harold and Thora Wind, Brose and Eleanor Roberts, Ferrell and Hazel Walker, Ivo and Zelda Ogden, LaVar and Bertha Owens, Frank and Virginia Lyman, Ika and Tanetta Sorensen, Jim and Maxine Owens, Max and Delia Johnson, Bert and Florice Sanford, and Fred and Elaine Turner. Ralph Erickson left Monday to enter the Armed Forces. On Sunday Max Watts of Salt Lake City visited at the home of Lake were visitors during the second se-cond pheasant hunt at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Jensen. Mrs. Bernard Jackson and Mrs. Lester Johnson entertained for their children, LeRay and Anna-Lee Anna-Lee on their birthdays. Last Thursday Mrs. Earl Fowles returned from the hospital at Salt Lake City where she recently underwent un-derwent a major operation. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Skidmore returned from their trip to San Francisco where they have been for the past week. They brought their daughter, Emoret and her small daughter, to stay with them for awhile. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan May. He returned re-turned ot his home last Monday. Eddie Lee of Tooele visited at the home of his brother, Seth Lee on Saturday and Sunday. Last Friday Mr. and Mrs. George Jackson came idown to visit with their children and their families. They stayed at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jackson, Mr. and , Mrs. James Owens and Mr. and Mrs. Max Johnson. Melvin Church came down from Tooele on Saturday night to visit his 'family. He stayed over the week-end. Rulon Jensen and his son, Dean, from Spanish Fork, came down on Sunday to see his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Jensen of Sugarville. Sunday evening church services were brought to Sutherland by High Councilman Clead Nielson. Speakers were Ferrell Walker and Alma Banks. Marilyn Nielson played play-ed two piano solos.
