Show Honors Sister At Hook Party Mrs. Betty Johnson was hostess Friday night at a party in honor of her sister, Mrs. Faris Miner, of Salt Lake City, here for a visit. Guests were Fontella Bishop, Lucille Lu-cille Stapley, Lois Max'Celd, Mary Wright, Wanda BeekwHh, Verna Shepherd, Neva Robinson, Bertha Owens, Zelda Ogden, Margaret Jensen and Dora Munster. After dinner Rook was played, with high scores for the evening held by Mrs. Owens and Mrs. Munster. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Peterson and children of Oak City, drove to Salt Lake City last Saturday to bring home Mrs. Peterson's mother, Mrs. Ben Bunker, who had spent the greater part of the week there. Saturday evening they were dinner din-ner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Fehmel, where twelve persons sat down to a. sumptuous meal. Later the evening was spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edsel Whick er, neighbors, enjoying television. Sunday, after visiting the Capitol, Tabernacle grounds, zoo, and other interesting spots in Salt Lake City, the Petersons and Mrs. Bunker returned re-turned home, making brief visits en route with Mr. and Mrs. Peter Warnick at Pleasant Grove, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Orgill at Salem, and the Borgeson home in Santaquin. |
