Show LEVY RAISED 1.94 MILLS OVERFORS Entire Count ievy Set at 8.35 Mills as Compared With 6.93 The Utah county commission today to-day set the county tax levy at 7.27 mills for 1025, an Increase of 1.94 mills over the 1924 levy of 5.M mills. The 1925 levy for state roads and state agricultural purposes Is l.Ots mills as compared with 1.C0 mills of 1921. The levy for the general fund for 1925 has been raised from ..'i4 mills to 1.11 mills; the county highway levy raised from 1.75 mills to 2.91 mills; the poor and Indigent levy raised from .73 to .75 mills; the Infirmary In-firmary levy lowered from .13 to .11 mills; the Interest on bonds levy raised from .72 to .'3 mills; the new county building levy lowered from 1.40 to .fit) mills; the widows pension levy remains the same at .20 mills, while two new levies are made for exhibition at .08 mills and bond and sinking fund. 98. The state road levy has been lowered from 1.50 mills to 1 :00 mills, nnd the state agricultural Inspection In-spection levy lowered from .10 mills to .08 mills. The total tax levied by the, county coun-ty including state roads and state agricultural Inspection this year will be 8.35 mills ns compared with 8.93 mills last year, an increase of 1.42 mills. This Is the first year, according lo Clifford L. Wright, that the coun-;y coun-;y has made a levy for the, sinking fund to care for the bonds on the court house and the hard surfaced roads. The school district levies have been set by the respective school hoards as follows: Nebo 8.10 mills; Alpine, 11.93 mills nnd Provo city school, 10.50 mills. |
