Show o-, . FUNERAL SERVICES FOR HORACE ELMER HELD HERE SUNDAY Funeral serivecs for Horace Elmer of South Milford who died here last Wednesday were held Sunday afternoon after-noon at the L. D. S. Church at two o'clock. Bishop Bird presided over the rites. Raymond Taylor gave the opening prayer which was followed by "Sometime "Some-time We'll Understand" by the choir. Bishop E. Tanner and Bishop W. Miller Mil-ler then spoke and Bishop E. H. Bird gave a short address. The choir sang another hymn and the closing prayer was given by S. Christiansen. Following ceremonies at the church, interment took place in the Milford cemetery, Bishop Frank Williams of Minersville dedicating the grave. Harry Ward had charge of funeral arrangements. . Mr. Elmer is a native of Utah. He was born in Beaver in 1864. He was married to Elizabeth Ann Richards of Greenville and spent his entire life in Beaver county. Here ten children were born to him, all of whom are living. He is survived by his wife and his children W:illiam Elmer of McGill, Nevada, Carl Elmer of South Milford, Morvil Elmer of Ogden, Earnest Elmer El-mer of Boise, Idaho, Mrs. Elizabeth Williams of Oaklahoma, Mrs. Eva Lewis of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Ethel Evans of Vernal, Mj-s. Margaret Sprnttler of Chicago, Roy Elmer of Boise, Idaho and a daughter in San Francisco. All except Mrs. Sprattler, Roy Elmer El-mer and the daughter in San Francisco Francis-co were present at the funeral. s 0 |
