Show STUDENTS PUBLISH FIRST PRINTED PAPER ON MONDAY JAN. 26 The first printed issue of the Tiger Tattler, high school bi-monthly newspaper news-paper will be published Monday, Jan. 26 according to the plans of the offic--ers of Milford High School student body of the staff of the paper. Arrangements have been made with the Milford News to print the paper, two hundred copies of which will be distributed among the students and patrons of the high school Monday. The paper is to be an independent activity of the student body and entirely en-tirely self supporting. It will depend on advertising of the local merchants for its financing as the students will not maintain a paid subscribtion list and will not ask the school board for financial assistance. The first issue is already assured as the merchants of the town have been generous in their buying of advertising advertis-ing space, showing warm support of the student body and also realizing that the Tattler will be an excellent advertising vehicle as it will go into the homes of two-hundred Milford families. A reorganized staff is handling the business and editorial work of putting out the paper. It consists of: Editor in chief Melba Hodges Copy editor Helen Kinney Utility editor Charles Clements Socity, Leah Thompson and Melvin Bowman Humor, Virginia Killam and Lawrence Lawr-ence Easton Sports, Ferrin Frazier, Sherman Hickman and Claude Horton Art Ellen Ford and Sarah Pool Business manager Robert Killam Assistants, Jayne Sloan, Beth Coleman Cole-man and Helen Bird. o |
