Show UTAH IS SUBJECT OF PROGRAM PRESENTED FOR P. T. A. MEETING Utah was the subject of the program pro-gram presented at the Parent-Teacher meeting Monday evening when the association as-sociation met at the Milford High School to transact its regular monthly business. In addition to several numbers by the high school orchestra, the members mem-bers were entertained by a violin solo by Lorraine Bowman, a reading by Mrs. Joseph R. Murdock, Sr., "Mormon "Mor-mon Empire," a vocal solo by Ethel Hearn and "The Admission of Utah to Statehood," a reading by Marjorie Thompson. At the meeting M. J. Andrews, principal of the high school, announced announc-ed an art exhibit that is to be held at the high school February first to the sixth, some of the proceeds of whicli will be devoted to the purchase bf pictures pic-tures for the school. Mrs. R. E. Ellingsworth, vice president, presi-dent, presided over the business meeting meet-ing in the absence of the president, Mrs. C. R. Parrish. |
