Show Willi approximately two hundred and twenty-five Kiwanis members and partners present from the cities ol" Ogden. Park City, Sail Lake. Provo. .Spanish Fork, Price. Nephi. and Helper, the annual in-ter-Kiwanis art club luncheon was held at the high school Thursday evening. Following an entertain-in!; entertain-in!; proiani in which Get l it de Jt cik. Wayne Johnson and Virgil Ha feu spoke. the clubmen and their parentis viewed the pictures in the exhibit. President M. R. ' Straw of the local club was master mas-ter of ceremonies, and J. F. Win- I gate toastmaster during the luncheon. ( "PARAMOUNT ON PARADE" . COMING TO PROVO PARAMOUNT MAY 6, 7, 8 Eighteen starring interludes, each an intimate show in itself, makes Paramount's festival of the stars, 'Paramount on Parade," the most enjoyable entertainment ever to show in Provo. Patrons who attend at-tend the Paramount theater net Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to see "Paramount oh Parade," will be literally guests at a great big Hollywood party. The film frolic was in production for several months. All possible varieties of entertainment are included, in-cluded, comedy, drama, music, Ringing, Ring-ing, dancing and romance. Nearly every star and featured player on the Paramount roster is seen in some intimate and enjoyable bit. More than eleven directors, all hit-makers, hit-makers, collaborated in making this world of entertainment. Intimacy is the keynote of the entile show. Elsie Janis, famous stage star and director, who supervised super-vised the production, describes the picture "as r party of the stars." She endeavored to make it a personal, per-sonal, face-to-face enjoyment-special in which the audiences could join the screen favorites in making whoopee. |
