Weaver' canyon, can-yon, in the Deep Creek region recently disclosed an immense vein of ore, and If the body of fuel proves as extensive as the present conditions Indicate, the smelting problems for Deep Creek will be solved. Indications of coal In the neighborhood of the recent find have long been evident but . very little prospecting pros-pecting had been done. A little over a week ago, however, the entire side of a mountain gave way and left cropping out on the surface a fine vein of good coal.
