Mrs. Elisabeth Harrison Goddard, one of the oldest residents of Salt Lake, and a woman who for the past fifty years has been a prominent worker in the Mormon church, died- yesterday at the . advanced age of 86 years. Mrs. Goddard was born March 17, 1817. In Leicester. England.' She was married to Georre Goddard, September 10. 1839. She came to the United State tn 1SS1 and to Utah In 1&2. Her home has been In Salt Lake City ever since that time. She was the mother of. thirteen children and had forty-one grandchildren and thirty-two thirty-two great-grandchildren. Throughout her life she was a devoted member of the Mormon church. ... . . She leave three sons. Joseph, Hyrum H. and Brlgham H. Goddard. all of whom reside In Ogdea, and one daughter, Mary O. Whitehead of St. George. . The funeral will be held from the Thirteen Thir-teen ward assembly-rooms Tuesday, April 14th. at 1:30 p. ro.
