The location selected, near the center of the business section, was ideal. Grand County, although not as populated as some places, earned a reputation repu-tation for putting over the projects they took on when more donors than some other counties showed up and offered a pint of life-saving blood. 40 Years Ago The board of education educa-tion met and executed the bond agreement with the federal Public Works administration ad-ministration whereby the school district would be given a loan and grant in the sum of S130.000 for the erection of the new school building in Moab.
