In Monticello, he has served as an elected city councilman, with responsibility re-sponsibility over roads and parks. He was selected se-lected as one of the Jay-cee's Jay-cee's outstanding young men in the state in 19 and received their Service Ser-vice Award. He also plays an active role in church and civic work, serving as Hodeo Club Advisor, Hoy Scout Leader, and is in charge of Mini-Courses Mini-Courses being offered as part of a varied curriculum curri-culum for the students at Monticello High. Mr. Bailey will now compete as Utah's nomination no-mination for the National Teacher of the Year award to be announced later in Washington, D.C. |
