Show office at the Ogden Theater to secure seats for tonight by those who had thought that yesterday's snowstorm would prevent the parade which was advertised to take place regardless of "snow, roln, hall, thunder, lightning, 'quake, comment or comet" The skeptical ones said that the parade pa-rade was enough to assure them that the show would be the best minstrel show seen In Ogden since well, a loug time since. ELK PARADE WAS GOOD TO JEE "Did you boo the Elks' parade at noon today?" Well, about sixty of the "Best Performers Per-formers on Earth", paraded tho streets of Ogden during the noon hour, advertising ad-vertising their minstrel show, which opens tonight at the Ogden Theater for a three nights' engagement. Like all things undertaken by the Elks, the parade wo commendable and was so far superior to what was presented In Ogden by "Millionaire" George Primrose Prim-rose and his aggregation of burnt cork comedians and Jack Mahara's minstrels min-strels that a comparison would be odious. The parade was hoaded by two buglers bu-glers of the High School cadet corps, followed by Exalted Ruler Corlew and "Uncle" Tommy Jones In a carriage. Then came fifty of the "finest" in regular reg-ular minstrel regalia tho high top hat, the white coat and the dapper little cane. They marched well, even keeping step with the muric, which was furnished by the Ogden band of fourteen pieces. The heavy comedians ld tho fun-makers, fun-makers, and all looked as calm and cool as the "vets" .that lead Lew Dockstader's old reliables.
