Show 1T1 Milford CCC Notes (By Alan L. Ash) Camp DG-131 at Kanosh has moved to Callao, leaving a number num-ber icf projects unfinished. Their work will be carried on by the men of this company. Due to the long distance from the Milford camp there will probably be a spike camp established either at Kanosh or at Black Rock for the summer. This camp will be established for the purpose of being near the projects pro-jects on which the men are to work. Mr. Tervort reports that the amount of work to be carried on will take nearly all of the summer sum-mer to complete but it has not been definitely decided whether or not a spike camp in that area will be established. Work on the remodeling of thu camp library is moving along swiftly. Nearly all of the new rooms have been added and at present pre-sent all energy is concentrated on the rewiring of the building. Replacements for the men who left on the troop train March 26 will soon be coming in. We shall get 21 men from disbanded companies com-panies in California on April 15. About 75 men will be recruited from the southern states and will arrive here about the 20th of April. |
