Show Examination Will Be Held ForOffice I An open competitive examination examina-tion to fill the vacancy in the position posi-tion of postmaster in Milford, temporarily filled by Rudolph Nielsen, Niel-sen, has been announced by the United States civil service commission, com-mission, and April 14 has been set as the deadline for the receipt of applications to take the examination. examina-tion. The annual salary for the local office is given as $2200 and the examination will be held at Cedar City at a date that will be given later to all applicants. In order to be eligible for the examination, an applicant must be a citizen of the United States, must have actually resided within the i delivery of this office, or within i I the city or town in which the of-fice of-fice is located, for at least one year immediately preceding the date fixed for the close of receipt of applications, must be in good physical condition, and within the prescribed age limits. Both men and women are admitted. Under the terms of an act of congress, the civil service commission commis-sion will certify the names of the highest three qualified eligibles to the postmaster .general, who will submit the name of the one selected select-ed to the president for nomination. Confirmation by the senate is the final action. Applicants will be required to assemble in an examination room for written tests, and will also be j rated on their education, business j or professional experience, general ; qualifications and suitability.
