Top of Policeman's Head Cut Off by Fall of Immetnse Icicle. William Daniels, a police officer, has; been killed, at Cassopolis, Mich., by an icicle. The upper half of his head was cut off completely by the immense Icicle, which had evidently fallen from the roof of C. L. Smith's general store, a distance of fifty feet, just as Daniels - , stepped up to try the door. ' Daniels was 25 years old' and unmarried. He served three years as a soldier in the Philippines, returning a year ago.
